Moving her hand delicately back and forth, hand gripping a black colored brush with a light serene blue paint on the end. Her brush moved silently across the canvas; adding blue sky to the beautiful picture she was painting. It was the Leaf Village; captured from her own perspective. Detail was a must and every thing she did was done with perfection in mind. Ayako stuck her tongue out of her mouth a bit as she painted, occasionally closing her eyes to renew the image of the village in her mind. She continued to move the brush across the canvas, her other hand holding a wooden plate with several colors on it, some even mixed. The picture was near finished as she worked, this was something she had been working on for a good portion of her own private time; and you could definitely tell due to the amount of perfection she put into it.

She stood in the park under a large Japanese oak tree with pink leaves much like the American counter-part. She wore her usual outfit, tank-top, black pants and shoes as well as her cap. The weather was nice for the time being; blue skies with cumulus clouds overhead, helping her to paint the pretty clouds in her painting. She grinned and took a step back, smiling at the painting. She leaned over and set her brushes, paints and other things aside and glanced at it, tilting her head this way and that to help her view it. She smiled; "Finished." She said with a grin. She looked at herself pulling out a small mirror, her face was rather coated in various colors of paint as well as her fingers and hands. She sat down and moved the Painting into the sun to dry, leaning against the tree and beginning to write some notes in her notebook with a pencil.

Telemachus had been wandering. It was a beautiful day outside, and on beautiful days, it is often good to go out and do beautiful things. And that is what Telemachus decided to do. He had left his house, bored with the lack of entertainment there, and had decided to go to the park. He had grabbed his ukulele, for he decided he was going to practice it on this beautiful day. So, with a skip in his step, he was off.

It was not very far from his home to the park, and he took note to all of the beautiful grass that was there. Well, obviously there would be lots of grass, it was the Grass country for Pete's sake. Telemachus skipped more, through the nice fields, taking note of the surroundings. He was wearing a plain white T-shirt and a pair of very skinny black jeans, and today he had decided against shoes, preferring to feel the earth in his toes today. The skies were blue, and there were clouds in it, very bright, thanks to that glowing sun.

Telemachus skipped and skipped until he saw a girl, a cute one at that, leaning against a tree, seemingly writing in her notebook. Telemachus also saw that she was painting something, he could not tell from the distance he was at, and he became curious. So, he did what any man would do in the situation. He skipped over to he and spoke.

"Hey," Telemachus said, very calmly, trying to get her attention, "I love your work, I mean, I'm not exactly sure what it is, but I like it." Quickly he added, "Oh, my names Telemachus, Onkagu, pleased to make your acquaintance." Telemachus pulled out his open hand out to shake her hand, which hopefully she did.

Sitting with her legs propped upright to place her notebook on, Ayako's face was mostly covered by her notebook. Due to this; a lack of line of sight was established in front of her, blocking her view for when another genin it appeared made his way towards her. Noticing only by the sounds of his footsteps, too heavy for a girls, and the fact that girls didn't wore shoes, unlike the boy was, she disregarded him for a moment, waiting for him to initiate the conversation; that is how things work between boys and girls. He spoke, politely calmly, as if he had done this before, and so Ayako nodded at this, grinning behind the notebook. He admired her work, that was nice of him to say, but still Ayako wasn't into this conversation, he seemed boring already. Without realizing, "Telemachus, what kind of name is that.." she mumbled to herself. In truth she wasn't one to care about that kind of thing however. This entire time her pen never once stopped moving through her fingers. She stood up and smiled at the boy, raising a brow to his appearance. He looked like he hadn't changed his clothes in weeks and his hair went through a blender. She sighed, "I'm Ayako, If you'll excuse me.." She said as she moved around him to get to her painting, pulling it off the canvas already taken notice that it was dry and placing it into her bag, along with a few other things.

She flipped her notebook into her hand and slid the pen into the spiral bounding, hefting the bag over her shoulder and beginning to head towards town; paying no attention to the boy at all, but at the same time, taking every detail of his action into play. She studied people, their actions, emotions mainly and how they reacted to situations. If she thought she could learn something from you; she drew you in, if not then other methods could be used to rid a person from her shoulder. Most times she felt closed in when talking to someone, which is why she rarely did except for her few friends, she was thinking all of this as she walked, carefully taking notice of every surrounding without realizing she was. It was how she worked; she could do many things at once without even realizing it. It would be easy for her to play an instrument while singing or such.

She glanced over her shoulder, "Coming?" she asked a sly grin on her face. The boy was obviously interested but she wasn't really into that whole mushy gushy stuff, even into love really. She had it pretty much figured out for her sake and didn't need to hear about it. She continued towards central town, carrying her stuff. Knowing the boy was sure to follow simply by the way he approached her; people were simple to her. She smiled, sure to have fun with this. Without looking at the boy she asked "Hungry? I'm starved." she said in a very bland voice, as if it was nothing out of the ordinary.

Telemachus was slightly dismayed when he saw that the girl, whose name had seemed to be Ayako, took little notice to him, more intent on her work then on him. Telemachus was not however, dismayed at her actions. Either she was not at all interested in him, or she was trying purposefully to ignore him, hopefully because she was trying to play hard to get. She scooted around him to grab her painting, but not before she looked him over. Telemachus also took a second to look at her, she was wearing what seemed to be a white tank top, followed by black pants. On the top of her head, there was a black hat.

She began to walk away, and then looked back, asking if Telemachus was going to follow. Telemachus smiled, knowing that maybe his self was going to have a chance with this girl. Following with a brisk and happy skip, Telemachus heard her ask if he was hungry. Telemachus, not really hungry, decided to lie as he caught up to Ayako.

"Yeah, that sounds great." Telemachus said calmly back too her, hoping that he didn't sound dumb. "Hey, what was that picture that you were painting? Art is not much of a strong spot for me, I'm more into music-" At this moment Telemachus held up his ukulele, which he realized he had been carrying all this time, probably seeming like an idiot, "-but I can still tell that your pretty good."

Ayako continued to walk alongside this Telemachus boy, saying nothing for a moment or two while he spoke. Simply by hearing the way he talked, he knew that he was lying. She took this in and nodded with a sound, "mmm." not at all interested in his instrument which she had already saw a few minutes ago when he approached her. She continued to walk at a brisk pace, this boy wanted a chance with her, and she would feel bad if she toyed with him much more, and so she tipped her head slightly to the side and looked at him, the same smile she had used when she glanced over her shoulder at him. "It's the Eye of the World." She said, pretty sure that it would confuse him. The boy obviously had paid no attention to her painting at all since it was obvious that it was the village she had painted. It was in fact, the eye of the world, looking at the village. She named it aptly, and continued her brisk pace until she reached a Dango shop, slowing her pace and inhaling the sweet scent of Dango's. She slowed to a stop in front of the shop. There were no chairs or seats to be sat at, it was a pick-up and go kind of shop.

She glanced at the various choices the owner, who was rather old, was wiping some sort of dishware clean with a cloth waiting for her to say something. In all she already knew what she wanted she was just wondering what the boy intended to do now, eat and feel sick due to it? Or have nothing? She knew she was analyzing even though she told herself she would stop but she couldn't really help it, it was what she did. She adjusted her hat and smiled, "A stack of your sweetest ones." she said sweetly to the old guy who yelled something back into the Kitchen and Ayako handed him a few bills to pay for it. She set her bags down and lent against the side of the shop, looking at another shop with no interest, simply listening.

After a moment the Dango's were handed to her on a stick and with a small napkin. "They drip so watch your fingers, have a nice day." The old man said in a raspy tone that still sounded happy to get her business. She bit down and her mouth shriveled up due to the sweetness of it, sticking the stick in her mouth she picked up both her bags and began to walk again, this was boring, is what she thought to herself. Adjusting her bags and biting down on another Dango while pulling the stick out of her mouth, only 1 left on the stick but the small snack would be enough to hold her until dinner came around. She glanced over at the boy but said nothing, knowing he would try to entertain her now that it was clear she was bored, hopefully; if the boy had a brain.. which he could be lacking for all the comments he had made so far. She shrugged the thought off, even someone like him.. she glanced at his hair.. well.. maybe.. she thought, thinking that he might indeed lack a brain. Bringing a small smile to her face.

PostSubject: Re: The Eye of the World (Open)   The Eye of the World (Open) Icon_minitimeSat Dec 19, 2009 5:40 pm

Telemachus listened and she said that it was the "Eye of the World". Whatever that meant. Maybe it was about the world having eyes, and maybe it was a picture about something the world sees. But whatever, it confused him, and he noticed that Ayako was not very impressed with him. Oh well, there is not much to be impressed about. She sat down at some store that Telemachus hadn't ever really eaten from before. She asked for "A stack of their sweetest", and the man called back and served some food to her.

The man looked to him, and Telemachus felt sort of obligated to get something, but not wanting any of the rice-ball-stick-thingies that Ayako was eating. Or whatever they were. So he decided he would have the same, but just not eat it. "I'd one of that as well."

Telemachus was feeling bored though. Not only was little going on, but Ayako probably thought he was stupid. Well, he was, so that probably meant that she was right on. She looked at him with a bored stare, and Telemachus looked back, with another bored stare. Life huh? For some reason, she began to smile, which was weird, because he hadn't done anything. The man at the store took out the stick of Dango, but in Telemachus' clumsy behavior, he accidentally knocked it down. On his toe.

"Wow," Telemachus remarked, looking at the gross looking food on his foot. He took a second to look at Ayako, then to the man who gave him it, then to Ayako, then to his foot. "I guess that's what happens when your only paying attention to pretty girls instead of your food." Telemachus picked it up, threw it away, and gave the man some money for the wasted food.

Ayako watched the boy through her peripheral vision, listening to what he was saying as she finished her Dango's. Smiling at the sweetness she picked up a napkin and wiped her hands down, watching as the boy dropped his dango's. She rose a brow at his foolishness but when he spoke, all she could do was roll her eyes. She glanced at his shoes, now wearing a red smear on them. She looked around the streets, people were moving about but she was more or less looking for something entertaining to do. She spotted something, a tall stack of barrels held up by a few beams of wood. A sly grin ran across her face, before anyone could stop her she disappeared.

Sling in hand she moved through the street and climbed up onto the roof of a nearby building. She placed a smooth stone into the sling and spun it silently then released it, a direct hit! The beam slid off a hinge and it creaked. The stack of a dozen or so barrels rolled down the street, knocking people, horse and children down, no serious injuries of course, they weren't moving fast and many people scrambled out of the way. If you were watching Ayako, and looked away from her to watch the barrels, she would be gone now. She had ducked back into the alley, sling in her pocket again. A smile ran to her face, then wider and wider and she began to giggle in the hidden corner. Laughing as quietly as she could to herself, that was fun she thought, maintaining her distance from the barrels for a while, remaining hidden even to the Telemachus boy.
